Join Hands for Nepal

Join Hands for Nepal

Since I live in an extremely stable part of the world it’s hard for me to comprehend what getting through such massive disaster would be like. So, how does a people, that’s struggling with the basic necessities of life, pick up and start to carry on with life? Thankfully there is help coming in with all kinds of support but I’m sure much more is needed.

I’m proud that a forum such as Second Life can organize and support an event for fund raising for this very worthwhile cause. I’m showing here a few items that are in the event with 100% of proceeds going to helping the Nepalese people.

The Join Hands for Nepal sales event runs May 13 to 16 and More Than Ever is there with the event exclusive, Starry Night Evening Dress in Dreaming Blue and Silvery Moon. All proceeds from the sale of these gowns will be going to the cause and all Lindens collected in the event will be given to the World Food Programme which is the food assistance branch of the United Nations.

Also donating to the Join Hands for Nepal event is Tashi with a SLink nail applier pack and a dress, both exclusive to the event and also with 100% of sales donated. I’m wearing a selection from the Spring SLink nails applier pack.

I did a little shopping yesterday and picked up Flirt, a very pretty updo from Vanity Hair. I’ll admit that the vendors had me baffled for a bit(doh!) but luckily the directions on the wall helped me out! Note to self: Don’t just stand there being baffled…look for directions! 🙂

The Jewel, bare skin in Peach tone is from Lumae.

The Serena Teardrop Pink Pearl earrings and necklace are from Maxi Gossamer Accessories.
