On The Beach

On The Beach

First off, I’ll say that this isn’t about the incredible book by Nevil Shute or the movie starring Gregory Peck! Although On the Beach, in either medium, is incredible, neither are of a topic I care to mention when blogging Second Life fashion. But if anyone hasn’t read the book or seen the movie I highly recommend both! My perception of the beach is a little different. I’ve always been a little bit high strung, and at one time I had read in a self help book that to find relaxation one sometimes had to envision being in a place where one could find peace. For some reason I chose the beach as a place where all my worries would leave me. Although at that time I had never seen an ocean or even been to lake that I couldn’t see the other side. I did find, though, that my imaginative beach was quite peaceful! The sound of the waves, the feel of the breeze and being so near something so vast, made my worries seem inconsequential!

I’ve donned a fairly simple, but very nice, outfit for this seaside outing. The Tara jeans from NoName are a new release and pure comfort. They’re HUD driven with six colours and have a perfect length to go barefoot to wade on the shore or show off a nice pair of sandals!

The perfectly flawless skin is a new make up for the Jewel line of skins from Lumae. The Jewel, Awestruck skin is on an extended Lazy Sunday sale in which until May 31 you can get each tone for a mere 75L$.

The Wicked Wonderland Corset is this very nice top from {Reverie}. It’s part of the Wicked Wonderland gacha and available at The Fantasy Gacha/The Arena Men’s Event.

The Emma necklace is a group gift from Pure Poison. Just wear your group tag and start clicking on the vast array of gifts!

The fun Riva Bow Sandals, for the SLink flat feet, are from Maxi Gossamer Accessories.

The Sakura hair from Truth is from a previous round of the Arcade Gacha Event.

Poses by Le Poppycock.
