I Will Not Be Defined By My Illness!

I Will Not Be Defined By My Illness!

I’ve thought a lot about what I’ve been defined as and what I define myself as. It always seems so easy to take on the negative events in my life as what defines me and not any positive parts of my life. Yes, I’ve been divorced but that doesn’t define the real me. I could look at any failures I’ve had in my life and they don’t label me as a failure, some things just don’t work out is all. And many people, including myself, have an illness, but it’s something a person gets, not who they are! Ultimately, we all have to get past and accept everything that goes on in our lives and they may mold us into the person we’ve become, but they don’t define us!

I’m really happy to be able to help support The Lexi Project. The Second Life community has come together to help someone who needs help and isn’t that what we are all here for? To help one another? The organizers of this event has gathered 338 designers to donate an item or two with all proceeds from sales going to help Lexi Zelin with her fight. More Than Ever has contributed the tied top and vintage skirt to make a cute little outfit to wish Lexi many, many beautiful days ahead!

Lumae is also involved with The Lexi Project! This brand new face for Lumae is Fae and isn’t she pretty? This is Violetta and all eight tones are available at 50% for the duration. All proceeds will be donated!

Hello Dave has a new group gift out for all the VIP’s! This time it’s a full 35 colour palette called Tryst! It’s stunning! Also, this is SLink and Omega compatible so even more lovely avs can enjoy the beauty!

The cute hair is Girls #62 from Dura.

Lighting by Lumipro.

Poses by Kirin Poses.

I took these pictures at a new to me sim. ~serein~ has lovely scenery with lots of relaxing areas to enjoy. I’ve only seen a small part of it, but I’ll be back to do some more exploring!
