They whisper still, the injured stones
The blunted mountains weep
As he died to make men holy
Let us die to make things cheap
And say the Mea Culpa, which you gradually forgot
Year by year, month by month, day by day
Thought by thought

~Leonard Cohen~ Steer Your Way, from the album ‘You Want it Darker’.

I’ve spent an enjoyable morning putting this blog post together! The inspiration is Joan of Arc and I found the difficult part was selecting what part of her short life I would interpret. I chose to focus on her last day! When I did some research on her, I realized how little I really knew about her, but there’s lots of information available online! So, I think I might adopt this way of blogging once in awhile, just to pick a theme and interpret it in some way! For one thing, it’s a great way to become more informed, all while having fun! I’d love to hear suggestions for interesting themes for me(and maybe others who’d like to join in) to interpret!

The Lady of Shalott gown, in Earthen, rough, is from Junbug! It comes in five sizes and lots of colours, some rough textured, like this one, and lots in silk!

The Boys & Girls 31 hair in black is from Dura.

I’m wearing the Gold Cross from Maxi Gossamer Jewellery, you can’t really see it, but it’s there! 🙂

I consist of the Alex mesh head from Logo, with the Irina skin in pale tone from itGirls. Along with the Lara meah body from Maitreya! The gown dictates that an alpha needs to be used to hide the arms, and I have no hands or feet on!

When looking at this gown I knew the best poses to use would be from Imaginarium. The poses are made, with care by PewPew Zero, who knows all about posing in a gown!

You wouldn’t know it….but I’m at a campfire at The Wastelands in the Fort Stygian sim!
