Gaze Long Into the Abyss

Gaze Long Into the Abyss

I’ve just spent 45 minutes trying to make sense of Friedrich Nietzsche and I can now report that that is not enough time! I was going to write something meaningful and profound, but while doing some research on the ‘staring into the abyss’ quote, I realized that there’s no way I can come close to saying anything that wouldn’t make me look like a complete idiot. I do have an open mind, and am will to try form thoughts about how I interpret things, but this is ‘waaaay out there for me’! It’s not that I don’t get the very basic meaning……but to actually write about it, is a whole other thing. You know the saying, ‘it’s better stay silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt’? Yea…that was meant for me….and I know when to keep quiet!

I’m always drawn to poses of sadness, so the newest set of poses and props from Le Poppycock are perfect for me! The ‘Heartache A & B’ pose sets are all gut wrenching in their emotion and you’ll probably be seeing each and every one of them here, eventually! This one is called ‘Secret Sorrow’ and includes the rose with falling petals. This set is perfect for anyone that feels alone during this time of year. With everyone throwing their love and romance at you, when all you want to do is put on your jammies and watch a good movie while eating a pint of ice cream straight from the container! The ‘Heartache’ sets contain six poses each, with rose props and are available now at The Chapter Four.

I’m wearing the newest release from DURA Hair here. It’s the ‘Boys & Girls 82’ and available now at The Men’s Department.

The ‘Betina Tank Top’ is from Addams.

I made it over to the flash sale at Blueberry last week and grabbed the ‘Kimi Skirt’, among other things.

The look all starts with the ‘Raine’ skin in ‘miel’ tone from Avada on the ‘Lilo’ bento head from Catwa, the ‘Lara’ mesh body from Maitreya, and the kitten feet from SLink.

I found the incredible Neverfar sim. Joining the group does give rez rights, but worth every penny.

  1. Well, all I can say about such precious intellectuals is that an Indian incarnation called Shri Jnanadeva (Dnyaneshwar) once wrote a whole book about the massive philosophical crap of the time he lived in which was worse than nowadays and He proved conclusively that intellectualising everything means nothing and amounts to a big fat zero. It was His way of saying that stupid people it’s no good tying yourself up in knots when you don’t know the Reality and if your brain keeps going on and on you’re never going to achieve the thoughtless state of Nirvana and become one with God. End of!

    • Hey, Moz…….that makes me feel a whole lot better with my inability to understand philosophy. I have enough trouble calming my mind without trying to grasp things that play no part in my happiness. So, I will give up on Nietzsche and go back to reading things I enjoy, which just might happen to be a trashy romance now and then. 🙂
