1.) This is awesome.
2.) This is tricky.
3.) This is sh*t.
4.) I am sh*t.
5.) This might be OK.
6.) This is awesome.
I can completely relate to this, but I have to admit that I rarely get to step 6. I go through all the other steps, but when I’m finally done, I rarely think it’s awesome. Oh, there are times that I’m particularly happy with how something turned out, be it a photograph or a blog post, but for it to be ‘awesome’…no…not often. I’m probably my own harshest critic. Even after I consider something complete, I still look to find flaws with it, which can be annoying since I know for a fact that I will never consider anything I do ‘perfect’. But, luckily life isn’t perfect, we live in an imperfect world, so anyone(me) that strives for perfection is never going to get there. I should be happy with doing the best that I can, not comparing myself to anyone else and not looking so hard to find mistakes. When it comes right down to it, what does any of it matter? What I do, whether good or bad, doesn’t say anything about me as a person, it just says I did the best I could with what I had, at that time.
The Hipster Fair starts tomorrow and this is an exciting event. Elle Boutique(formerly Slipper Originals) is there with a new and exclusive release, the ‘Daisy Toe Rings’. They consist of 3 rings per foot with a casual design that shows off a fancy pedicure so nicely. They’re fitted for the high and flat feet of both Maitreya and SLink and the HUD is filled with 12 colours for the flower center and petals and fireflies along with 7 metals, with all being materials enabled for added shine. I’m wearing the ‘Daisy Toe Rings’ on the SLink flat feet here. The Hipster Fair runs until March 3.
This pose is another great one from the ‘Heartache’ pose sets from Le Poppycock. There’s 2 sets to choose from with each set containing 6 poses with rose props(not used here). They can be found at the current round of The Chapter Four.
I’m wearing one of the options from the ‘B&W, shiny’ mani/pedi set of appliers from alme..
The jeans I’m wearing are from an early round of Luxe Box from Blueberry.
My hair, although you can only see the top of it, is ‘G1224’ from tram.
The rest of my look all starts with the ‘Raine’ skin in ‘miel’ tone from Avada on the ‘Lilo’ bento head from Catwa and the ‘Lara’ mesh body from Maitreya.
I’m sitting on the old truck beside the gas station at Mother Road. I know there’s nothing to see in this shot, but it’s one of my favourite spots to hang out.
