Blurred Lines

Blurred Lines

‘I love the rain. I love how it softens the outlines of things. The world becomes softly blurred and I feel like I melt right into it.’

~Hanamoto Hagumi~

Like the true introvert that I am, I do love the rain. I love to hear it on the roof, lightly sprinkling down, making me feel warm and cozy indoors. The window panes have rivulets of rain running slowly down and I look through it, seeing the world in soft muted tones, knowing all of life outside is taking in it’s life force and being renewed. To walk in the rain brings a certain peacefulness to me, the air is fresh and clean and the rain brings a coolness to my skin. The trees and grass and sky all blend into each other with the slow movement of the rain falling and it’s easy to get lost in the rich colours made darker with the wetness. As I sit here looking out my east window and see fog, hoar frost, and snow I dream of a soft summer rain. But, you know I’m a practical girl also! For the dream is but a dream and reality is more likely, it’s a drought and it hasn’t rained in a month, or it’s been raining non stop through haying season and I curse it for causing problems! I always love the rain, and always will….but sometimes Mother Nature just doesn’t know that haying season is NOT the time to send the rain!

I want to thank RH for his endless patience while I struggled to get a shot I liked. It was one of those times that nothing seemed to feel right to me and after countless poses, angles, and windlights this is what I ended up with. RH didn’t participate in photographing this pose, I think he got tired of me changing poses and he gave up to watch some TV! Thanks again, RH.

The pose is ‘Whisper My Name’ from CKEY Poses. I like the intimacy and connection it shows without being overdone!

I’m wearing the ‘Sideview Bodysuit’ from [Vale Koer] here. It’s my go-to bodysuit, perfect for any shot of my backside!

The ‘G1020’ hair is from tram.

Since this is in black and white it’s hard to get an idea of skin tone, but it’s the ‘Raine’ skin in ‘miel’ tone from Avada on the ‘Lilo’ bento head from Catwa and the ‘Lara’ mesh body from Maitreya.
