I sometimes wonder about the process my fellow bloggers go through before the final product is posted and it’s considered done. Mine seems really long and difficult some days, and other days…..it’s longer and more difficult! 🙂 Lately I’ve struggled with just about every part of a blog post and it makes it hard to remain positive about it. Today, the picture taking went really well, unlike yesterday when it took 2 visits to Neverfar to get it right, today I went to Mother Road, struck my pose, and clicked 4 pics before getting one I could live with. So with the picture done in record time, the problem then becomes writing. No idea what to write, picked out what I think is a good title, who doesn’t love this song by Red Rider, it’s a classic….at least in Canada it is! Then here I sit, my mind wandering aimlessly, thinking of anything except what I should be. So, how does anyone else do it? Do other bloggers have problems getting a picture they like and working on it for a ridiculously long period of time to get it right? Do they lack something to write about and then talk about not having anything to write about? Because I know…..I’ve done it a few times…and I feel like I’m cheating when I do. Does any other blogger see the photo posted on flickr with 50 likes and 300 views, to then decide it’s not good enough and want to take it down….but would feel guilty for doing so? Or seeing a mistake in the picture and feeling embarrassed for a week worrying that everyone couldn’t help but see it. The more I think about it, the more I wonder if I really do find it fun…..but then there’s the days that the picture is fun and turns out well, the words come easy, and I’m really proud of my work. I think maybe I get too wrapped up in wanting to create something perfect, which I never will of course, I should let all that go and just do what I do….there’s no pressure from anyone but myself…so I should just sit back and enjoy the process.
I just could not resist the ‘City Bike Set’ from Nutmeg, available at the inaugural round of Red Light District. Each part of the set can be purchased separately, there’s various colours of bikes in this wearable version or a rezzable version with static poses, there’s the ‘City Bench’ in adult or PG, a bike rack and magazine are also part of the set. The detailing is so good and the poses are perfect.
I’m wearing the newest main store releases from Blueberry here. The ‘Lila High Waist Jeans’ and the ‘Lila Crop Top and Knot Tie Top’ are perfect for an active day out and about but also sexy! There’s also a sweater to tie around the hips, which is part of the jeans fatpack, or for purchase separately. I rarely demo anything from Blueberry…stupid I know…..but I’ve never been wrong yet! Always fits.
The ‘Gaia’ hair is from TRUTH Hair.
My look all starts with the ‘Raine’ skin in ‘miel’ tone from Avada, on the ‘Lilo’ bento head from Catwa and the ‘Lara’ mesh body from Maitreya.
