$*%@(&%!^ Typos

$*%@(&%!^ Typos

I am such a bad typist!! Oh, I know everyone has moments, but I seem to just automatically make the same typos over and over again. I’m not sure if anyone who chats with me in-world notices, but I get so frustrated when I see I’ve made the word ‘doing’ into ‘diong’ yet again! My fingers just won’t put the letters in the right order, for some reason! If there’s a wrong way to spell a word, I’ve done it, I just hope that whoever I’m chatting with speaks fluent ‘typonese’ and can decipher what I’m saying. The one good thing about typos is that when I spell a word wrong, that person is then assuming it’s a typo when in reality I just have no idea how to spell it. And with my lack of knowledge in current acronyms, I never know if the letters in someones message to me mean something or it’s a typo! It’s embarrassing really, but since I can acknowledge my own foibles, I don’t mind telling you all. I’m trusting everyone can completely relate to this. And really, if you tell me you can’t…..then I know you’re not being honest about your own typing skills, or lack thereof! I can usually understand what someone is saying without anything being spelled right. Unless it’s a complete mess, then I’ll have to ask for a repeat, and hope I get it then. My mistakes aren’t limited to chat in Second Life either, I’ve now written 249 characters here and I’ve had to make corrections to it 18 times! The scary part about bad spelling is that I seem to care less and then put less effort into correcting it. I used to reread my message and correct the problems, not anymore…..I hit send as soon as I’m done and hope for the best. There are times it can be embarrassing….like getting the ‘c’ and the ‘x’ mixed up. I told a friend the other day, ‘give me a sex’, meaning to just wait a second! Yea…there was much laughter. 🙂

I can’t believe how fast the month of March has passed. I logged in yesterday and realized it was the 25th and ~uber~ was open! So, off I go to find the Just BECAUSE booth to gift the newest release to my lovely sister! Since I am one of then luckiest girls in the world and blog for *JB*, I logged into Blogotex and snatched that baby right up! The ‘Daisy Top’ is so cute with delicate lace on each side, a finely detailed zipper, and a little bit of cheekiness with one side starting to slip! It’s fitted for the SLink, Belleza(Isis & Freya), and Maitreya mesh bodies and is HUD driven with the shirt, ruffle, zipper, and lace all being colour change. The fatpack contains 18 colours for the top and ruffle and 26 for the lace, there’s also 6 metal options. ~uber~ runs until April 23.

Thanks to Ana Poses, I have a new look for sipping my beverage of the Gods! The ‘Santiago’ pose set, available now at Shiny Shabby, includes 5 bento poses and coffee travel cup props.

The hair is ‘Bones’ one of my favourites from [KoKoLoReS]. It’s a colour from the ‘naturals’ pack.

As I often do, I’m wearing the ‘Just Love’ tattoo from Carol G Tattoo Wear. Simple yet powerful!

The ‘Infinity Necklace’ is from Cae-Original Mesh Jewelry.

As usual, my look all starts with the ‘Raine’ skin in ‘miel’ tone from Avada on the ‘Lilo’ bento head from Catwa and the ‘Lara’ mesh body from Maitreya.

I’m at Isle of May for this shot! It’s my new favourite place to be.

    • Thanks so very much, Starr. 😀 It means a lot! I try to remind everyone that we are ALL human and everyone does silly things that are worth a chuckle. I’ll be the first one to admit my screw ups, because sometimes they’re just damn funny! 😀

  2. Typos are the worst and I feel your pain regarding the same mistakes happening over and over again. But more importantly, as a new follower I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for the work that you do with you blog here. It is nice to see some long form posts about Second Life and I really enjoy your photographic style because they are real and not over-edited (again, something refreshing to see on an SL blog). Please keep up the great work, from a silent lurker.

    • So nice to hear from a new follower and lurker, silent or otherwise! 😀 Thanks so very much for the kind words, and letting me know at least one person is reading. I needed a purpose in Second Life and I chose blogging, not because of any kind of skill but I couldn’t think of anything else to do. There’s no way I could create, and a girl can only dance so much, so since my sister was a blogger I went that route too. I’m completely self taught in all I do, which is why my pictures aren’t over-edited, there’s no way I the patience to learn PhotoShop. I can only write about things I’ve lived, which keeps it real. I may get boring at times, my posts ride with my mood of the day, so some may bring you up and maybe even cause a smile, but others may be a little dark. Either way, it’s just me. ❤
