As I Come Clean…

As I Come Clean...

Yes, I understand that every life must end, uh-huh
As we sit alone, I know someday we must go, uh-huh
Oh I’m a lucky man, to count on both hands the ones I love
Some folks just have one, yeah, others, they’ve got none

Stay with me…
Let’s just breathe…

Practiced are my sins, never gonna let me win, uh-huh
Under everything, just another human being, uh-huh
I don’t wanna hurt, there’s so much in this world to make me bleed

Stay with me
You’re all I see…

Did I say that I need you?
Did I say that I want you?
Oh, if I didn’t I’m a fool you see
No one knows this more than me

As I come clean…
I wonder everyday, as I look upon your face, uh-huh
Everything you gave
And nothing you would take, oh no

Nothing you would take
Everything you gave…

Did I say that I need you?
Oh, did I say that I want you?
Oh, if I didn’t I’m a fool you see
No one knows this more than me
And I come clean, ah…

Nothing you would take
Everything you gave
Hold me ’til I die
Meet you on the other side…

Just Breathe‘ ~Eddie Vedder~

Everyday could be an Eddie Vedder day, for me, but I try to find new songs and artists that I haven’t heard to expand my musical horizon. This is one of my favourites of EV’s and I may have shared it already, but I don’t care…’s worth a repeat.

So, personally I’ve had a difficult week with being over emotional and somewhat down….well….not somewhat…….just down. With all the bad news on TV I’ve pretty much stopped watching it, I limit the amount of news I read and hear to just once a day, that way I don’t get caught up in the anxiety and negativity of it all. Then, the news of a crash on a highway in my part of Canada hits, and I’m struck with how precious life is. I think this accident has been covered nationally, it’s severity completely shocking. My heart goes out to all of the people affected by this. In so many small towns in Canada the hockey team is something that everyone supports and follows, and the Humboldt Broncos have been national champions in the past, and hopefully will be again. It’s events like this that everyone should look at their life and cherish everyone and everything in it. You can never say ‘I love you’ too much, or appreciate this world we live in enough. This life we live is fleeting, and with the finite amount of time each of us has, it’s much too short to not live….really live!!

So, the picture today is just something I took yesterday while pondering life. I tend to be drawn to sad poses but I wanted something a little lighter and the ‘Katyusha Elegant Armchair’ from RK Poses is perfect. This is the female half of the couples pose in this chair and it’s thoughtful without being sad, I think. I’m just resting…..calming my mind and letting my worries go. The chair is available now at Shiny Shabby until April 15.

The KOMA hair is from Argrace.
