She’s So High

She's So High

She’s blood, flesh and bone
No tucks or silicone
She’s touch, smell, sight, taste, and sound
But somehow I can’t believe
That anything should happen
I know where I belong
And nothing’s going to happen, yeah

‘Cause she’s so high
High above me
She’s so lovely
She’s so high
Like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, or Aphrodite
Da da-da da da
She’s so high
High above me

First class and fancy free
She’s high society
She’s got the best of everything
What could a guy like me
Ever really offer?
She’s perfect as she can be
Why should I even bother?

‘Cause she’s so high
High above me
She’s so lovely
She’s so high
Like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, or Aphrodite
Da da-da da da
She’s so high
High above me

She calls to speak to me
I freeze immediately
‘Cause what she says sounds so unreal
‘Cause somehow I can’t believe
That anything should happen
I know where I belong
And nothing’s going to happen, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

‘Cause she’s so high
High above me
She’s so lovely
She’s so high
Like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, or Aphrodite, oh yeah
She’s so high
High above me

She’s So High‘ ~Tal Bachman~

So, what’s the theme for today’s post, you ask? At this time, I have no idea. But I’m going to just keep typing and hope one develops. I chose this song yesterday while I was doing my usual YouTube song hunt. I was looking for a song that spoke to me, and this one did! It’s not the actual message that the song has, although sweet it is, I disagree with it. No one is above anyone else, regardless of looks, social standing, or wealth. Oh, I’m not saying I don’t feel this way with some people, I’ve been known to go all fangirl with some Second Life residents. Whether it’s designers, bloggers, or photographers I admire, I get all nervous if I see someone in-world and they say hello! Because I guess I’m a familiar name on Flickr to some, who knew! 😀 Oh, I’m not saying anyone goes fangirl with me, I’m nowhere near that caliber of anything, but I’ve had people say hello because we’re fellow Flickrites. It’s like Flickr is a community all on it’s own and when I walk through the neighbourhood everyone says Hello to each other. For an introvert like me that’s kind of scary, I’ve been known to go the long way around in RL just to avoid having to run into someone I know, but in SL and the Flickrverse I rather enjoy it, it’s always a nice day for a chit chat while out and about!

The Spring Flair Fair is on and Elle Boutique has released the exclusive ‘Eden Ankle Bracelet’ for the occasion. It curls beautifully around the ankle while remaining casual for outings during the warm spring days! It’s fitted for the SLink, Maitreya, and Belleza mesh high feet and the HUD includes 7 metals and 14 stone and diamond colours. Plus it’s SL materials enabled for extra shine! The Spring Flair Fair runs until April 28.

I’m wearing the anklet on the SLink high feet paired with the ‘Lara’ mesh body from Maitreya. My skin is tone 210 from the newly tweaked Gen 2 skins from Avada.

I’m using one of the 12 poses included in the ‘Harmonie Chair’ from DS’ELLES, which is available at the Pose Fair.
