I Apologize

I Apologize

One day the shadows will surround me
Someday the days will come to end
Sometime I’ll have to face the real me
Somehow I’ll have to learn to bend
And now I see clearly

All these times I simply stepped aside
I watched but never really listened
As the whole world passed me by
All this time I watched from the outside
Never understood what was wrong or what was right
I apologize, I apologize…

One day I’ll face the Hell inside me
Someday I’ll accept what I have done
Sometime I’ll leave the past behind me
For now I accept who I’ve become

And now I see clearly

All these times I simply stepped aside
I watched but never really listened
As the whole world passed me by
All this time I watched from the outside
Never understood what was wrong or what was right
I apologize, I apologize…

One day the shadows will surround me

All these times I simply stepped aside
I watched but never really listened
As the whole world passed me by
All this time I watched from the outside
Never understood what was wrong or what was right
I apologize, I apologize
I apologize, I apologize
I apologize, I apologize
I apologize…

I Apologize‘ ~Five Finger Death Punch~

I appreciate all genres of music, well….most anyway…….I’ve heard very few rap songs I like…..I guess I’m not ‘gangsta’ enough. But, there’s usually a song or two that manages to blur the lines between genres for a song to appeal to a bigger audience. There’s some heavy metal that I like, how can anyone not like Metallica? I saw them in concert back in the day when everyone attending was a visibly younger version of who they are now. It was a lot of long hair flying around and although I’m not the head banging type, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Five Finger Death Punch is relatively new to me, and there are some lines in it that resonate for me and, and although I’m not as deep and dark as the song suggests, everyone does have a part of themselves this song would apply to. The concept for the video makes a person stop and think, every name on the headstones are artists that left the world too soon, and all for what? So, have a listen, turn it way up and remember the saying from the 60’s…..’if the music’s too loud, your too old’! Haha….I always liked that one! Oh…..and who am I waving to in this shot? Is it a hello or a goodbye wave? That’s up for interpretation, I guess…..because I was alone at Black Bayou Lake when I took it!

Did you see my booties? They’re ‘Tessa’ from **UTOPIA@DESIGN**, and with the weather getting colder and fall definitely in the air it’s time to cover those toes and choose footwear with a little more substance than what summer calls for. These have a nice chunky high heel, the textures are incredible, and look closely at the detailing, it’s incredible…as always. They come in a fatpack of 12 preset colours, plus ample areas to customize with 10 colours, there’s 5 levels of glossiness, they’re compatible with the SLink, Maitreya, and Belleza high feet and they’re available now at FaMESHed.

The ‘Stacey Jeans’ from *Just BECAUSE* have become my go-to jeans, they fit perfectly and have a nice view from the back, so I’ve been told!

The ‘Off Shoulder Leather Jacket’ is from TETRA. It has soft and supple leather textures and the dècolatege is quite the eye catcher!

The ‘H0531’ hair from tram is one of my faves.

As always, I’m wearing the ‘Maddie’ skin in ‘honey’ tone from The Skinnery on the ‘Lilo’ bento head from Catwa and the ‘Lara’ mesh body from Maitreya.

The pose is one of the 8 from the ‘Wander’ set by .Infiniti..
