Radioactive

Radioacitve

Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa

I’m waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust
I’m breathing in the chemicals
[Inhale, exhale]

I’m breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa oh

I’m waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my system blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I’m radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I’m radioactive, radioactive

I raise my flag and dye my clothes
It’s a revolution, I suppose
We’re painted red to fit right in
Whoa oh

I’m breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa oh

I’m waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my system blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I’m radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I’m radioactive, radioactive

All systems go, the sun hasn’t died
Deep in my bones, straight from inside

Radioactive‘ ~Imagine Dragons~

I hope if the apocalypse comes I don’t feel it in my bones and know it’s coming, I don’t want to know. Unlike when I was young, I don’t want to know the future, back then I wanted to know what was going to happen and how would I be living when I got to the age I am now. Thankfully, I had no clue…..if I’d known then what I know I went through to get where I am today, I’m not sure what I’d have done. Could I prevent it, and even if I could would I want to? If you’ve read the book 22/11/63 by Stephen King you know that things turn out differently when the past is changed, and not always for the better. Well, since it’s an SK book, you know it’s not going to be good! But just wonder if things had been different and I’d tried to shape my life in a way to avoid some events, who knows what could’ve happened that would’ve been so much worse. Nope…..I don’t even want to think about it, what’s happened thankfully can’t be changed, and I’m where I’m meant to be……..sometimes ending up back where you started is exactly where you’re meant to be! Oh, and if the apocalypse is coming…….I hope it happens right smack dab where I live and I’m sitting outside with a coffee and a good book, with my dog by my side. That’s not a bad way to go!

This is just a picture that I took today. It took me 35 shots, 14 angle changes, 18 windlights, 5 things derendered, 4 outfits, and 29 different swear words. It wasn’t good……but thankfully I did end up with one I liked………one out of 35 ain’t bad!

The pose is a gift from FOXCITY.
