Fine Line

Fine Line

I been walkin’ the fine line
Between the form and the function
Between the gall and the gumption
Between feelin’ and touchin’

I been walkin’ the fine line
Between the thought and the action
Slippin’ sideways and traction
As a matter of fact, hon’…

You better look out, look out
I’m about to start swervin’
Hey hey hey, I’m on the straight and curvin’
All right, so I might be slightly unnervin’
But honey I don’t bite, I’m just a little bloodthirsty

I been walkin’ the fine line
Between the feast and the famine
The Leslie Cab and the Hammond
Between the shovin’ and the grinnin’

Well everybody was jumpin’
Between the Tag and the Heuer
Just chicken shuffling, s’curred
In Kansas City, Missouri
Where all the borders get blurry

You better look out, look out, look out
I’m about to start swervin’
Hey hey hey, I’m on the straight and curvin’
All right, so I might be slightly unnervin’
But honey I don’t bite, I’m just a little bloodthirsty

You better look out, look out, look out
I’m about to start swervin’
Hey hey hey, I’m on the straight and curvin’
All right, so I might be slightly unnervin’
But honey I don’t bite, I’m just a little bloodthirsty

I’m really glad this is Liz in Second Life and not the real me in real life, because if this was me, I’d be flat on my face on the floor. I wouldn’t be wearing those boots, but that wouldn’t stop me from falling off. Hell, I’d fall off those heels just walking on flat ground, I sure don’t need to make it harder by walking on a steel beam less than a foot wide. Of course I have no idea how wide it really is, size is always a very fluid thing in SL, something that looks the size of a car is actually a little dinky toy and a house that looks perfectly sized has doorknobs over my head, so who really knows. Yes, I just wrote ‘dinky toy’, do people still call Hot Wheels and little toy cars that? Anyway, I digress……..I’ll just stop there and let you carry on with this post, and then your day. Have a great Sunday, everyone.

I can tell who the maker of these boots are just by seeing them, the incredible texturing, the perfect shine to the leather, and the unique design all says to me, **UTOPIA@Design**! And yes……these are the ‘ROBERTA’ boots and they’re available now at the 7th Anniversary round of FaMESHed. The HUD is loaded with 16 preset colour combinations plus has 12 leather colours and 5 metals to customize on 6 areas, there’s also 5 levels of gloss when advanced lighting is enabled. They’re fitted for the Maitreya(seen here), SLink(Physique/Hourglass), and Belleza(Isis/Freya) mesh bodies with high feet. FaMESHed runs until May 27 and it’s going to take until then for everyone to get in and do their shopping. Like any party there’s tons of gifts for the FaMESHed group members.

This pose for walking the fine line is from the ‘Jojo’ set from M-1 Poses, which is at Grauland where I took this picture. The fatpack contains 5 poses with mirrors and they’re all distinctly different and natural.
