Against The Wall

Against the Wall

I was born to fly away and run across the sun
It faded out like a candle in the breeze
Fading out like I’m supposed to
So everyday I’m against the wall with nowhere to turn to
And if I dare to believe it all it leaves me deflated

When my mind begins to stray and my thoughts begin to run
I’ve played it out
I can’t seem to find the peace I’ve heard about
Am I not supposed to?
So everyday I could lose it all, don’t let this concern you
So will you catch me if I fall and keep me elated?

It’s not complicated

And if I knew I could change it all I’d hope that you waited
(Can’t be broken down)
And if I knew I could change it all I’d hope that you waited
(Can’t be broken down)
(Can’t be broken down)
(Can’t be broken down)
(Can’t be broken down)
(Can’t be broken down)

Against The Wall‘ ~Seether~

‘Can’t be broken down’, if only we could learn this lesson earlier in life. When I was young I was always waiting for that thing that would destroy me, constantly afraid of having something happen that I just couldn’t endure. What I’ve learned this far along in my life is that I’m stronger than I thought, and even at my lowest and most terrifying times I was only bent……..never broken. When I look ahead now I see huge changes that will happen, there’s no getting away from it, life is full of change and the loss of loved ones is part of life. I think I’ll make it….though, it won’t be easy but no one ever said life was supposed to be easy. I’ve been through difficult times in the past, and I will again, but at least I know now…… I can’t be broken down.

I’m using one of the 4 bento poses from the ‘Static Poses #88’ from The Owl, here. It’s available at the current round of Cosmopolitan along with lots of other goodies.

The ‘Deep V Sweater’ and ‘Boyfriend Jeans’ are both from (fashionably dead).

The ‘G1113’ hair is from tram.

My whole look starts with the ‘Maddie’ skin in ‘honey’ tone from The Skinnery on the ‘Lilo’ bento head from Catwa and the ‘Lara’ mesh body from Maitreya.

I’m at the always inspiring Grauland for this picture.
