Living Outside the Box

Why just think outside the box when you can live outside of it? Life is too short to put things off, so be wild, be free, and be yourself! No one can do that better than you!

It’s a stormy Friday evening here in my world, so I’m typing fast to try to get this written before the power goes out, like it did last night! So, lets get going, shall we!

First off, Indie Teepee starts today and KraftWork has the intricately detailed and fabulous ‘Not a Box Stage’, perfect for any kind of entertainment you may want to host. It’s HUD driven with lots of colours to light it up any way you like! The 2017 edition of Indie Teepee promises lots of music, arts, entertainment, plus the always popular retail areas for your shopping enjoyment! Every day is a full schedule of live music and DJ’s on multiple stages throughout the three areas, custom built by some of the best builders in Second Life. You can stay up to date by following the Indie Teepee Facebook page, it runs until August 6.

The Secret Affair is on and Le Poppycock has the ‘Indiscretion’ pose/prop gacha set exclusive to the event. The set consists of 10 poses with a chair for a prop and five poses without. All of the poses are sexy, seductive, and just a little bit naughty! The Secret Affair runs until July 29.

The ‘Shirley’ Lingerie set in red is a stunning set perfect for your boudoir photos. It’s a three piece set, plus appliers for the stockings in three colours from Big Beautiful Dolls Lingerie. The set is compatible with the SLink, Maitreya(seen here), and Belleza mesh bodies and is available now at Shiny Shabby.

I know this photo does nothing to show any kind of detail of anything I’m wearing, it’s not the shot I was intending when I put this outfit together, but I just adapted and let it go where it wanted. So, I’m showing a very glowy and far away shot of the lovely ‘Dannika’ Pumps from Slipper Originals. The shoes fit the SLink, Maitreya, and Belleza high feet and the fatpack contains 16 colours, five metals and five areas to customize. Sorry for the long shot Elle, I’ll make it up to you soon. 😀

As always I’ve applied the ‘Luna’ skin in ‘peche’ tone from Avada to the Lilo bento mesh head from Catwa and the Lara mesh body from Maitreya.

I’m Not!

I'm Not

I’m not a woman who is only a shell, like a cheap chocolate Easter bunny that has exquisite decorations on the outside but nothing on the inside! I’m made up of a multitude of layers all leading to a core that’s like an intricate galaxy of emotions, yearnings, disappointments, joys, experiences, love, and grief! I’m not a woman who gives herself freely, but when I choose to, I give it willingly and completely! I want to be understood and accepted for all that I am. I’m not perfect, but rather perfect imperfection! I’m not a simple story that can be enjoyed and understood by needing to only read the last chapter! I’m like a novel that has twists and turns throughout, and with every turn there’s another surprise waiting to be found! I may not have it all, but I’m all that I can be! And really, it is enough!

I’m really and truly honoured to have Legal Insanity join my family of featured designers! I’m looking forward to being challenged with the multitude of styles that they create since I tend to get stuck in a rut sometimes with the same look, lately it’s been a tank top and shorts! So today’s post is a lot different from that!! I started with the Candy Heels, which are exclusive to the Kink(Y) Event, which runs until July 19. They’re SLink, Maitreya, and Belleza mesh body compatible and are available in 15 separate options or the fatpack! These sky high heels give me totally ‘Hot Legs’! And as Rod Stewart would say ‘You got legs right up to your neck’!!

I really think that ‘Kasumi, sheer’ from R2 Fashion is something to behold! The shiny see through parts with the added top and under little bitty things to cover up my private parts is a statement in itself! The thong back just adds to the package! Be prepared to be noticed! 😀

The ‘KOMA’ hair from the blacks pack is perfect for me! I love short hair and Argrace has some of the best!

As always I’m wearing the Lilo bento mesh head from Catwa with the ‘Luna’ skin in ‘peche’ tone from Avada, along with the Lara mesh body from Maitreya!

I’ve combined a pose prop with a pose, both from Le Poppycock, for this post! The pose is from the ‘Lost Inhibitions’ A pose set and the stool is from the ‘Sitting Pretty’ pose prop gacha set!

See Me Well!

I’ve done it! In the beginning I said I’d never go mesh, then I got the Lara mesh body, but there’s no damn way I’ll ever get a mesh head! They all look the same and I love my system face, I said! Yea……then I got a mesh head, I said! First one from Genesis Labs and then Alex from Logo, which I thought was ‘me’! Well, this past weekend I felt rich and decided I had way to many lindens, and the best way to get rid of them is to shop! And shop I did! I went to the Catwa main store and grabbed some demos and went home to wrestle with the various mesh heads! I finally declared the ‘Lilo’ head from Catwa the winner and off I went to make the purchase! And then another one, because I need to make faces. And then a few more transactions, why have an animations HUD without it being full? Oh…and since I was there, and still had a few lindens left, I decided I ‘need’ the tears! I want Liz to be able to cry! 😀 So today I present to you, the new TinLiz Winterstorm,

I’m standing on the precipice at Hazardous and the wind is blowing strong! I know the ‘MAYU’ hair from Argrace is covering my face, but I want to mention my eye make up! It’s from the ‘Monroe Shadow Set’ from Veechi and available at ~uber~ for the next couple days, then it’ll be at the Veechi main store!

I’m so happy to stay with my usual skin of ‘Luna’ in ‘peche’ tone from Sinful Curves Skins, or Avada which I’ll be calling it from now on. Luna looks as gorgeous on the ‘Lilo’ head as she did on my Alex head from Logo.

I found this little beauty of a tattoo on Market Place from QUATRETTOCS! It’s the Bird Believe Tattoo and it’s compatible with Maitreya,Lara and Omega compatible mesh bodies. Hey guys, look at the tattoo, no need to look any lower than that!! 😀

The ‘Moon Choker’ is from Burial! I love how fine the cord is and the super delicate moon!

The Hara VNeck Top is from Addams! I think I’ve got a problem controlling my shopping impulses, but I’m loving it! It’s always the fatpack at Addams!

I’ve always loved dark eyes, I wish I had them in real life, but I don’t! ~sigh~ These are the ‘Nissa Eyes’ from Zombie Suicide at the current round of ‘APPLIQUE‘! The pack contains ten stunning eyes….. system, Catwa and Omega compatible.

No Sugar Tonight

This is way to handy! I’m sitting at home, both in Second Life and in my real one, and this song comes on the radio! Not surprisingly, the mention of no sugar , could only mean one thing to me! Whether it’s coffee or tea, the question always is, what do you like added to it! I’ll say up front that I drink my coffee with a generous amount of cream, no sugar, and my tea black! It’s a personal thing, and everyone has their own way of drinking it! Since it’s February and I’m in Canada, coffee is on everyone’s mind right now! My favourite coffee is Tim Horton’s, of course, and Rrrroll up the Rim is on now, so with every coffee or tea I get, I have a chance to win something! So far I’ve won a free doughnut and a free coffee, which isn’t much considering how many coffee I’ve had in the past couple weeks! When I order at a Tim Horton’s I just ask for a ‘large coffee with double cream’, but some people want a ‘double-double’, which is two cream and two sugar for those not in the know! I’ve heard people order a ‘triple-triple’, which would be too sweet for me, and once I saw a guy order an extra large ‘quad-quad’! My theory is, if you wanted a cup of cream and sugar, why did you order coffee, but who am I to judge! 😛

It’s a cloudy and gloomy day here, but it could always be worse. In Second Life I’ve spent a bit of time out on the deck where the sun shines bright and I have the best view! I’ll start off with the Fallon Sandals from Slipper Originals, which are available at the February round of Lost & Found! They’re compatible with the SLink, Maitreya, and Belleza flat feet and the fatpack has 16 colours and 5 metals, so the options are numerous! I’m eager to wear sandals again, with the majority of winter behind us, can spring be far behind?

The ‘Shy Breeze-ensemble blue’ is a new release from Dead Dollz and it’s at Shiny Shabby, right now!

The MAYU hair is from Argrace! This is from the dark browns pack and it also includes a mirror, so you can change the wind direction with just a couple clicks! 🙂

I’ve added the Arcane Liner from Veechi to the skin, it’s available at the current round of N21. I know it’s not a close up, but I’ll give you a better look at it in the near future!

As always, I’m wearing the Alex mesh head from Logo, with the Alexa skin in honey tone from Sinful Curves Skins! My curves are from the Lara mesh body from Maitreya, the flat feet are from SLink, and my hands are the Bento hands from Vista Animations!

I’m using a pose from -slouch-poses, but they’re no longer available, unfortunately.

A Few of My Favourite Things!

Since I seem to be lacking a brain pattern that can put multiple thoughts together, I thought a nice random list of things might pad the word count of this blog post! 😛 Here are a few of my favourite things, in no specific order!!

coffee, dogs, a rainy day, the first crocus of spring, my truck, gardening, a cozy house on a cold night, cows, making jam & jelly, Stephen King books, the smell of pine trees in the morning, new pens, pencils, and paper, playing cribbage, songs that move me, a freshly made bed, sewing, coffee, old movies, going on drives with no destination, the smell of rain on soil, sitting under a shade tree, Eddie Vedder’s music & lyrics, going bra-less, good times in Second Life, dust hanging in the air during fall harvest, coffee, good friends, great quotes, colouring, popcorn, my favourite coffee mug, baking(pies especially), cats, wading in spring puddles, watching eggs hatch, coffee!

And now, on with the information you’ve actually wanted to read!! I’ll start with a new release from {MYNX}! There’s ten Graphics Tees to choose from, this is the Polka, which I just adore, the colour combination is one of my favourites! The Tees are compatible with the major mesh bodies and have gorgeous curves!! You can find them at the {MYNX} main store or on Market Place!

The February round of Enchantment runs until the end of the month, and Le Poppycock has an incredible gacha set, as always! It’s called ‘Dream a Little’ and it contains super cute pose props with such unique poses! There’s two styles of balustrades in each pose prop and here I’m using the ‘Perhaps Someday’ pose. One of the great things about pose props from Le Poppycock is that the props are worn, so no need to rezz! The theme for this round of Enchantment is ‘Cinderella’ and Le Poppycock also has a hunt gift available.

The Sandy Saddle Shoes are one of my favourites from Slipper Originals. These flats are so cute and are perfect for the upcoming spring weather! They’re compatible with SLink, Maitreya, and TMP flat feet and the fatpack contains 16 colours and 5 metals to mix and match! You can find them on Market Place here!

The Aletta Photo Necklace is a new release from RealEvil Industries and is available at the current round of Cosmopolitan! It’s super simple to add a photo of your favourite someone and it’s also easily resizable. It’s HUD driven with lots of metal colours and also has options for glass tint! It’s not a close up, so you’re left wondering who’s photo I have in it!! 🙂

The Cuffed Corduroy pants in cocoa are from paper arrow co. They fit perfectly and go with anything!

The HARUKA hair in classy brown is from Argrace! I love when the breeze lifts my hair and cools my skin!

I’m wearing one of the nine options from the Harvest Shadows pack from Veechi! This is one of my favourite sets, with all the lovely earthy colours!

As always, I have the Alex mesh head from Logo on with the Alexa skin in honey tone from Sinful Curves Skins! I also have on the Lara mesh body from Maitreya, the Bento mesh hands from Vista Animations, and the flat feet from SLink.
